We are currently investigating the state of physics graduate education across the country. In this project, you will help analyze data from ~200 graduate physics programs, developing descriptive statistical measures, investigating potentially interesting trends, and/or looking for correlations with other publicly available data. Personally, this work would increase your understanding of the state of graduate physics education and potentially help you make future decisions about where you would like to go. For the larger physics community, this work will provide a foundation to help both researchers and departments identify areas to start improving graduate education.
