K-State astronomy enthusiasts can participate in active astronomy activities and projects, or enjoy a night observing the heavens. We partner closely with the North Central Kansas Astronomical Society (NCKAS).

Consider Physics

Physics is an exciting and rewarding major. Numerous career options are available and physicists are in high demand in today’s economy. A degree in physics will prepare you for a variety of positions in space & earth science, engineering, consulting, environmental science, publishing, communications, medicine, computer science, education, industry or basic research.

Our department’s faculty members are committed to providing outstanding undergraduate instruction. Our students are encouraged to participate in world-class research alongside our faculty and often publish papers in refereed journals during their undergraduate careers.
