Project Description

This project studied laser-molecule interactions at femtosecond time scales. Specifically, this project focused on computationally simulating the vibrational motion of carbon monoxide ions before and after interaction with femtosecond-length laser pulses. Accurately modeling these interactions both helps to verify previous experimental results and better understand molecular structure and function at a quantum level.
