Pamela Anderson Retires
Celebrating decades of dedication to high energy physicsAfter an incredible 35-year career at the University, Pamela Anderson, the longtime administrative assistant for the High Energy Physics (HEP) group retired this summer. Her last day was June 21.
Pamela’s extensive career at K-State included time in the Chemistry department and Sponsored Projects Accounting, building on her earlier experience at the University of Kansas. She joined the HEP group in 2002, where she quickly became the backbone of their operations. From navigating complex grant preparations and managing budgets to coordinating travel and overseeing critical reviews, Pamela consistently provided essential support, making countless tasks seamless for the team.
The department celebrated Pamela's remarkable 22-year career at a reception on May 8. As she begins this new chapter, Pamela is excited to spend quality time with her cherished mother, cheer on her four grandsons in their activities, explore new places through travel, and hit the greens to learn golf.
