Department of Physics

Physics Learning Assistant (LA):

The KSU Physics Department invites qualified undergraduate students who have completed Engineering Physics 1 & 2 to participate in our Learning Assistant (LA) Program. Learning Assistants receive specialized training in teaching methods and apply them in an Engineering Physics studio as part of a team with a Studio Primary and another fellow LA. If you are interested in being an LA, complete this online form. You must be enrolled in at least one course at K-State during the semester to be eligible for student employment.

Duties begin one week before the start of classes each semester and usually terminate at the end of Finals Week.

More information about the LA Program can be obtained from the current LA Coordinator, Dr. J.T. Laverty (laverty@phys.ksu.edu), or the Director of Undergraduate Labs, Brandon Lohman (bcl6677@phys.ksu.edu).

All form fields are required unless otherwise noted.
