Register for a Free Webinar on Training the Next Set of STEM Education Researchers

Join Eleanor Sayre, physics professor and her collaborators – Scott Franklin, Rochester Institute of Technology, and Mary Bridget Kustusch, DePaul University, for a Zoom webinar on training and developing graduate students, postdoctoral researchers and "boundary-crossing" faculty in discipline-based education research (DBER). The model emphasizes collaborative, qualitative education research and has resulted in publications and presentations from participants around the world.

The webinar will be held on Wednesday, September 16, at 12:30 pm CST.

In this webinar they will share how the PEER model was developed and its various implementations, and a new $1 million NSF award to develop the Institute in Research Methods for Professional Development for Emerging Education Researcher (PEER) Field Schools.

The Institute will engage more than 750 emerging education researchers in foundational, peer-reviewed DBER and open up world-wide collaboration opportunities for faculty interested in pursuing this type of research.
