Physics Students Selected Among Top Presenters in K-State Research Forum

KRF AwardsThree Physics students were among those selected as top presenters in various presentation sessions at the 18th annual K-State Research Forum held on Wednesday, March 26, 2014.

  • Jeff Murray, undergraduate working with Sanjay Rebello, first place in Overall Undergraduate Oral Presentations receiving a $500 scholarship award.
  • Mary Harner, Master's student working with Brian Washburn, first place in Engineering, Mathematics, and Physical Sciences Session II Oral Presentations receiving a $500 scholarship award.
  • Neda Dadashzadeh, PhD student working with Kristan Corwin, second place in Engineering, Mathematics, and Physical Sciences Session II Oral Presentations receiving a $250 scholarship award.

Jeff and Mary will have their name and department engraved on one of the K-State Research Forum perpetual plaques, which will be displayed in the Physics department until next year's event.
