Undergraduate Scholarships

 

Many of our students earn are awarded scholarships by the physics department.  In addition, some students receive scholarships from the university, or compete nationally for additional awards and fellowships.

All incoming students who select physics as a major are eligible for these scholarships.  All current physics students are encouraged to apply.

K-State TEACH: Robert Noyce Scholarship Program

A new scholarship focuses on Kansas State University science majors who want to become certified teachers. The program is called K-State TEACH and is a collaboration between the departments of curriculum and instruction, physics, geology, chemistry and biology.

Present & Past K-State Physics Recipients
From 1990 – 2011, 1990 our physics students have earned 19 Goldwater scholarships, based largely on their involvement in research, as well as one Rhodes scholarship (1998), a Claire Boothe Luce fellowship (2004), and two NSF graduate fellowships.
