Background

My hometown is Moorpark, CA. I go to school at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, CA, where I am a physics and math double major. After I graduate, I plan to attend graduate school and pursue a Ph.D. in physics. When I am not doing schoolwork, I enjoy hanging out with friends, shooting shotguns and rifles, working out and following college football.

KSU REU
While attending the REU at Kansas State, I was able to enjoy many exciting activities with the other REU students. During the weekdays, we worked hard on our respective projects, were given lab tours of the physics labs and the nuclear reactor at KSU, had interesting physics lectures by Dr. Larry Weaver and weekly ethics discussions with Dr. Bruce Glymour and Amy Lara. Over the weekends, the REU program had REU picnics, a canoe trip on the Kansas River, and a trip to the Kansas Underground Salt Museum and the Cosmosphere.
