The course gives knowledge in electrodynamics at an advanced level. This is the first course of a two-semester lecture on Electrodynamics. We follow the book "Classical Electrodynamics" by Jackson. Even though it deals with "classical physics" this course is nevertheless modern. Especially we will deal with relativity in the second semester, but quantum effects will not be covered.
