Born
in Quang Ninh, Vietnam. Received
B.S. and Ph.D. in Physics from Belarussian
State Univesity, Minsk, Republic of Belarus (the former Soviet Union).
I have a permanent position as a research fellow at the Institute of Physics,
Hanoi, Vietnam. I spent one year as a guest scientist at the Max Planck Institute
for Physics of Complex Systems in Dresden, Germany (May 1998 - May 1999).
Afterwards, I had another one-year postdoc position
at Memorial University of Newfoundland,
NF, Canada (Sept 2000 - Sept 2001). Since Sept 2001, I've been at KSU, first as a research associate and now as a
Research Assistant Professor in the Atomic Theory Group headed by University
Distinguished Professor C. D.
