Research Area

Experimental Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics

Currently I am in the process of setting up a new lab. The initial focus of the lab would to develop better methods of aligning molecules (in the gas phase) using short, intense laser pulses, and then use these aligned molecules to study ultrafast molecular processes.

In the past, my research involved investigating cluster plasmas produced by intense laser pulses, and generating plasma waveguides for relativistic laser propagation.
