Experimental Atomic, Molecular & Optical Physics

We are investigating the interaction of intense femtosecond and attosecond light pulses with atoms and molecules. We use momentum-imaging techniques to examine the real-time evolution of small molecules which are fragmented by short pulses of light and to examine the electron spectra generated by exposure of atoms and molecules to short infrared and XUV pulses.
