Applications are invited for one or more postdoctoral positions in the group of Prof. Brett Esry to study ultracold few-body collisions --- manifestations of the Efimov effect, interactions of polar molecules, characterizing the limits of universal behavior, and extending the calculations to more realistic systems, among other things.  Applicants must have a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in physics or chemistry and should have a strong background in theoretical atomic or molecular physics. Experience with one or more of the following is strongly desired: multichannel scattering, molecular structure of triatomic systems, ultracold systems, numerical programming, parallel computing, hyperspherical coordinates, and method development.  The initial appointment will be for one year with reappointment possible, contingent upon performance and availability of funding.  Send a letter of application, curriculum vitae, a list of publications, and arrange for three letters of recommendation to be sent to:  Prof. Brett Esry at esry@phys.ksu.edu.

More information can be found at http://www.phys.ksu.edu/personal/esry.  Screening of applications will begin December 15, 2009, and continue until this position is filled.
