RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
THEORETICAL ATOMIC, MOLECULAR & OPTICAL PHYSICS
KANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY
Applications are invited for one or more postdoctoral
positions in the group of Prof. Brett Esry to study ultracold few-body
collisions --- manifestations of the Efimov effect, interactions of polar
molecules, characterizing the limits of universal behavior, and extending the
calculations to more realistic systems, among other things.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in physics or chemistry and
should have a strong background in theoretical atomic or molecular physics.
Experience with one or more of the following is strongly desired: multichannel
scattering, molecular structure of triatomic systems, ultracold systems,
numerical programming, parallel computing,
EEOE. Background
checks required.
