You should apply as early as possible for on-campus housing. June is a good time to locate off-campus housing, although it can usually be found throughout the summer. 

Office of International Programs

Provides comprehensive assistance and information, from immigration to finding housing.  You should spend some time exploring what they have to offer.

 

International student associations

There is a large (roughly 1000) international student population at K-State, many of whom have families in addition to this number.  They have formed several student associations, mostly organized by nationality, and most offer assistance to new and prospective students.  Students in the Physics Dept. are also happy to help.
