To Submit & Present a Posters

Female graduate students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics are invited to submit a poster on their research to the Saturday afternoon poster session.

1. To submit your poster abstract, please download this msword file as a template for submission.  If you do not have access to MS Word, please submit in a format consistent with the style shown in this pdf file.

2. Using the format above, please replace all the information above with your poster title, author list, abstract (100 words or less), and optional funding information.  Make sure your name is listed first, as the presenter.  These abstracts will be complied and distributed to the workshop attendees.  Posters will be ordered alphabetically by first author.

3. E-mail your abstract as a word file (.doc) to Jane Peterson at Janie@phys.ksu.edu.

4. If you have used any special characters or equations, please also either email a pdf version or fax (532-6806) a copy of the document so that we may check for accuracy.

5. Please also register for the workshop, and prepare your poster.  Posters should not exceed 3 ft wide, but may be up to 6 ft. high.  Posters may be mounted with tacks or tape, which will be provided.

6. Posters may be set up starting at noon on Saturday, and must be taken down immediately after the poster session.

7. All abstracts must be submitted on or before Friday, February 8, 2008.
