Pizza crust

1/2 tsp yeast
1 c warm water
1 tsp sugar
2/3 c rice flour
1/3 c potato starch flour
1 Tbs potato flour
1 1/2 Tbs melted shortening
1 tsp salt

We got the recipe off the internet 2 1/2 years ago, and I do not know who to contribute it to.

Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water, then add sugar. Add the rest of the ingredients except water and mix well. Add the rest of the water until it is of a consistency of thick batter. Grease Pizza pan and pour dough into center and spread around evenly. Add toppings and bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes. (This is basicly the recipe, however I do a few things differently. I mix the dry ingredients separately while the yeast, water and sugar are dissolving, then I add the melted shortening and most of the remaining warm water. Stir then add the yeast water. Mix some more, trying to get out most of the lumps that might form. Add the rest of the water as needed, spread the dough/batter onto the greased cookie sheet and top as usual.. I had a special pizza pan from Calphalon but never had any luck using it, as the pizza crust stuck to it, I could just scrape off some of the dough with the sauce and cheese.) Good luck, we love this pizza using Cantadina's pizza sauce.
