Finding Help Checklist (in order):
    1. Ask classmates.
    2. Check the message board at http://online.ksu.edu/PHYS_114_esry.
    2. Go to the help room.
    3. Come by my office, preferably during office hours (Thursdays, 2:00-3:00).

Procedure:
   - Homework will be collected at the end of class.
   - One problem will be selected and graded.

There will be 14 assignments during the semester each worth 10 points, or 140 total. The total homework grade will be multiplied by 200/140 to determine the recitation grade. If you have not been able to do the problem chosen for grading, an alternate problem from the assignment will be graded for up to half credit. There are also 30 extra credit points that will be available during the semester.

Please note that you are encouraged to work with (not to copy from!) other students, or to ask instructors for help in doing these assignments. However, if you work with someone, please acknowledge it by putting "I worked with ..." or "I had help from ..." on your homework. This will not reduce your grade.

Grading:
It is your responsibility to communicate your solution to me in a clear, concise manner --- not mine to decipher it. Your answer (with units) should be easily identified. Partial credit is available. This is a rough grading guide:
