Spill-in/Spill-out – Extent of Effect, Continued

Monday, June 30, 2008—

Dr. Horton-Smith was back, and so I was finally able to understand what the problem with my results was. It turns out I had been setting the “direction” of the particles, without ever changing their original location. The language of Geant 4 is difficult to understand. However, I was able to resume trying to understand the extent of this effect and running more simulations.

I continued to run simulations, this time correctly.

Wednesday, July 2, 2008—

I continued to run simulations, tracing the spill-in/spill-out effect over the x-axis and y-axis.
