Welcome to WebElementsTM 2 (beta test version 9).
Periodic Table layoutThe positions of the elements La, Ac, Lu, and Lr in the WebElements periodic table is justified in the article by William B. Jensen, J. Chem. Ed., 1982, 59, 634. Elements 113-118 are not known at the time of writing, but are included in the table at their expected positions. Nomenclature of the heavy elementsThe nomenclature of the heavy elements with atomic numbers 104-108 has proved controversial, but hopefully the controversy is resolved. WebElements uses the latest IUPAC recommendations. See this link for further details.
