Invisible Light from the Unknowns: Physics with Photons at CDF
Photons are the second most copiously produced particles at the Fermilab Tevatron. By analyzing events with photons, not only could we test the Quantum chromodynamics (QCD), but we may also search for hints of physics beyond the standard model of elementary paticles. I will present the methods which have been developed to estimate backgrounds that appear like our photon sigals. I will also show the results of photon cross section measurement and searches from CDF (Collider Detector at Fermilab).
