A wealth of new information about QCD is currently being extracted from data gathered at the CLEO experiment. I will present its relevance to electro-weak physics and results from our 2-photon fusion data. This will allow us to get a glimpse of what exciting physics can be expected from the CLEO-c experiment running in the charm region.
