The Department of Physics at Kansas State University is accepting applications for one to two Research Associate(s) in the area of theoretical AMO physics in the research group of Professor C. D. Lin. Applicants are expected to work on theoretical methods for reconstructing bond lengths and bond angles of molecules under conformational transitions from experimental data obtained in ultrafast keV and MeV electron diffraction (UED) and in Laser induced electron diffraction(LIED), or on modeling molecular breakup by intense lasers by incorporating excitation and ionization by returning electrons to account for multi-electron effects. Applicants with background in laser-molecule and electron-molecule collisions are preferred.
Applications, including a cover letter, CV, a statement of research interest should be sent to https://careers.pageuppeople.com/742/cw/en-us/job/510219/fellow-post-doc.
Please make inquiry and arrange two or three reference letters sent directly to email@example.com.
Screening of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Kansas State University is an affirmative action equal opportunity employer and actively seeks diversity among its employees.
