MAP: Microwave Anisotropy probe
The MAP satellite is part of the NASA
Explorers Program and is scheduled to launch in 2001. It will probe
conditions in the early universe through anisotropy in the CMB.
Includes introductory articles on the CMB anisotropy and what we could
learn by measuring them.
Planck Surveyor:
Planck Surveyor is a ESA Horizon
2000 Medium-Sized space mission scheduled to launch in 2007. It is
designed to image the anisotropies of the CMB over the whole sky, with
unprecedented sensitivity and angular resolution.
