Departure

Travel to Manhattan, Kansas

The closest major airport is the MCI (Kansas City International Airport), it is two hours drive to Manhattan. There is a small regional airport MHK (Manhattan Regional Airport) that is very close to our campus, see http://www.ci.manhattan.ks.us/index.asp?NID=14. There are three flights from MCI to MHK each week days. There is also a shuttle bus (KCI roadrunner) from MCI to Manhattan, see: http://www.kciroadrunner.com/. Some related information can be found at: http://www.phys.ksu.edu/visit.html

Directions:

The physics department is in Cardwell Hall which is at the K-State label in the map below.  At http://www.ksu.edu/maps, Cardwell Hall is just about in the middle of the map, and the Holoday Inn (used to be Ramada Inn) is at the lower left corner (17th and Anderson).

This is a map of campus showing how to get from the Ramada to Cardwell Hall (the physics building).
