Postdoctoral Position

                                   Theoretical Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics

One postdoctoral position with the possibility of a second, in theoretical Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics is available immediately at the J. R. Macdonald Laboratory, Department of Physics, Kansas State University. Candidates with Ph.D degree in theoretical Atomic, Molecular and Optical physics are welcome to submit applications. The successful applicant is expected to work with Professor C. D. Lin. The areas of the group's recent main focus are:    attosecond physics;   interactions of atoms and molecules with intense laser fields, including ATI electrons and high-order harmonic generation; and the theory of dynamic chemical imaging with lasers.  Recent publications from the group are listed at the URL given below.  Screening will start on June 1, 2007, and continue until the position is filled.  Please submit a letter of application, curriculum vitae and description of research expertise as well as arrange to have at least two letters of reference to Professor C.
