2007 Telefund a Success Thanks to Physics Volunteers

Telefund 2007 is a great success due to the excellent leadership of physics major Jason Tackett and the dedication of our undergraduate physics major volunteers Asma Al-Rawi, Cole Lamberson, Melissa Perez, Aaron Pung, Zack Warren and Ashley Wheeler.  Faculty advisor Larry Weaver has played a major role as well.

We had excellent success with a total of nearly $9,000 raised for Physics scholarships.  To celebrate, Department Head Amit Chakrabarti hosted a pizza party for the volunteers in Cardwell Hall at noon on Friday, January 26, 2007.  Peggy Matthew's help in organizing the party is greatly appreciated.
