THEORETICAL ATOMIC, MOLECULAR AND OPTICAL PHYSICS

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in the group of Prof. Brett Esry to study the interaction of ultrashort intense laser pulses with atoms and molecules.  Applicants must have a Ph.D. in physics or chemistry and should have a strong background in theoretical atomic or molecular physics, large-scale computing, or ultrafast quantum dynamics.  The initial appointment will be for one year with reappointment possible, contingent upon performance and availability of funding.  Send a letter of application, curriculum vitae, a list of publications, and arrange for three letters of recommendation to be sent to: Prof. Brett Esry, Department of Physics, Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS 66506-2601.
